Obituary of Stephen "Steve" Hamilton

On the 6th day of June 2022, Stephen Hamilton was escorted by his angels to God’s Kingdom of Heaven. He will be greeted with love by his family who preceded him: parents, Gladys and Belva; son, Scott; brothers, Mike, Dan, and Jim. Steve will become a guardian angel and watch over his family here on Earth. He will ask God to give extra strength to his beloved wife, Lynn Sullivan Hamilton, whom he married in 1999 in Conneaut, Ohio. He will watch over his daughter, Terri Hamilton. Steve leaves behind stepchildren, Priscilla and Ralph DeBiase; grandchildren, Brianna (Brian), Dayton (Tayler) and Chase Hamilton, and Alexis, Patrick, and Ashley Copen, and three great grandchildren. Steve was born December 8, 1949, in Kenova, West Virginia. He graduated from Ashtabula High School and attended Ashtabula County Vocational School. Steve served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a good family man and provider who worked for companies such as RMI Titanium Company, General Aluminum, and Lake Erie Correctional Institute. During retirement Steve continued to paint while enjoying his favorite outdoor activities that included fishing, boating, and motorcycling. In addition to his love of working in his yard, Steve was an animal lover and took care of feral neighborhood cats and his coon dog, Davey. All whom loved Stephen dearly will not forget his kind nature. He will be missed dearly. A Celebration of Life be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2:30-4:00 PM at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God, 2221 Cook Road, Ashtabula.
