Obituary of Patricia A. Martinez

Patricia Martinez, 85, of Ashtabula, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Pine Grove Healthcare Center in Geneva. Born January 17, 1937, in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Charles Peterson and Ella (Gerri) Parsons Diglaw. She was raised by her late grandmother, Rula Loveland Parsons Burden Patricia attended Champion High School where she was a majorette & on the tap dance team. A lady of many talents, she enjoyed interior decorating, cooking, sewing, and crocheting. In her spare time, she also enjoyed reading Reader’s Digest along watching “The Good Witch” & the Hallmark channel. Patricia is survived by her children, Christina (Laurie Taggart) Mandrake, Brenda Hebden, Robert (Jessica) Martinez, Gerri (Dennis) Frank, Marie, Laurie, Diane (Douglas) Ramsay, Patricia (Bob) Boyer; siblings Ruth and Shirley Mackey, Barbara Baan, Rita Zito; sister-in-law, Dianna Diglaw; 8 grandchildren; Sarah, Mark and Dylan Mandrake, Rhonda Hebden, Ethan and Mason Martinez, Nick, and Venessa Frank; 12 great-grandchildren; dearest friends, Clara Vargas and Brenda Rylance; her prayer warrior, Alma Mandrake. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Larry Diglaw, Donald “Bud” Mackey and Joann Mackey, her parents, and her grandmother, Rula Loveland Parsons Burden Per her wishes, no services will be held.
