Any day would be made better by going fishing with his sons and good friend, Tom while waiting for a bite in the quietness of the day. On occasion he would go hunting and enjoy the beauty of nature. Willie liked sitting at the table and playing cards with anyone who was brave enough to play with him; he liked to win! In later years Willie would watch television enjoying the old westerns, Gunsmoke, Bonanza and Cheyenne just to name a few.
