Linda Kay Francis, 71, of Conneaut passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at UH- Conneaut Medical Center.
She was born November 19, 1950, in Ashtabula, Ohio the daughter of the late Stanley Peck and Hattie Elizabeth Jane (Faulkerson) Ruland. A lifelong area resident she graduated from Edgewood High School. She married the love of her life Jeffery Francis on August 28, 1970.
Linda worked for over 30 years in the housekeeping department at the former Inn-Conneaut nursing home, now Lakepoint. She retired as the environmental service manager. Linda collected owls and enjoyed watching TV and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Jeffery; children, Aimie (Kevin) Brown, Jodie (Bill) Jones, Jeffery (Jami) Francis II, and Jerrid Francis; brothers, Duane (Beth) Ruland, and Ronnie (Rita) Ruland; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Soden; and her parents.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11AM at the Kelloggsville Church of the Nazarene, 4841 Bushnell Rd. (Route 84), Conneaut, Ohio 44030. Linda was laid to rest at Kelloggsville Cemetery in Monroe Township.
