Obituary of Kathleen Ann McCoy

Kathleen A. McCoy, 84, passed away August 12, 2022, at Saybrook Landing.
She was born on April 18, 1938, the daughter of Joseph and Norene Ovak, and had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the housekeeping department at ACMC.
She enjoyed watching Days of Our Lives, crocheting, gardening and playing Bingo.
Survivors include two sons, David L. (Kim) McCoy Jr. of North Kingsville, and Timothy (Catherine) of Harpersfield; two daughters, Mary K. Kuscsik, and Rebecca (Paul) McCoy of Ashtabula; six grandchildren: Debra (Eslam), Adam, Zachary, Kyle, Addie, and T.J., and one great-grandchild Salma; one brother John (Cathy) Ovak of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years David L. McCoy Sr.; one sister Joanne Gosmer; her dear son-in-law Tod Kuscsik Sr.; and her parents.
Her family would like to give a special thanks to nurse Linda, and the nursing aides from Saybrook Landing, and the staff at Bella Care Hospice for the special care they provided to their mother.
Per her request, no calling hours will be observed. Private graveside services will be in Union Cemetery in Rock Creek on August 26th at 11 am.
