Obituary of Ann Louise Lovas

Ashtabula- Ann Louise Lovas, 61, beloved daughter, sister, aunt passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022; surrounded in love by her family. Ann was born on February 22, 1961, in Ashtabula Ohio; the daughter of Joseph and Charlotte Elaine (West) Lovas, Jr., and remained a life-long area resident. Ann and her family were members of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Ann attended and graduated from Happy Hearts School and was employed with Ashcraft Industries for many years. A dedicated employee, Ann seldom missed a day and took great pride in her work. Ann had a great memory, remembering dates, times and places. She was very punctual and encouraged others to be the same. An avid wordsearch enthusiast, it was not unusual to visit Ann and see her working her puzzles. Everybody Loves Raymond was her favorite television show. Ann enjoyed crocheting while talking to her mother and sister, Kathy. Bowling was always an adventure for Ann. She was very sociable and enjoyed sharing time with her fellow bowlers. Myrtle Beach was Ann’s favorite destination. She enjoyed being on the beach, sitting in the sun and watching for dolphins. She loved the Browns and would memorize the jersey numbers of her favorite players. Ann loved her family and sharing many happy times together. She was a favorite aunt to her nieces and nephews. Ann is survived by her siblings Joseph M. Lovas of Ashtabula, William J. (Carol) Lovas of Florida, John E. (Cathy) Lovas and Kathy Lovas all of Ashtabula and Edward (Ruth) Lovas of Elkton, FL; aunt, Flo Lovas of Willoughby; nieces and nephews, Dawn (Ryan) Cochran, and Karina, Cameron, and Kyle Lovas; and three great-nieces Taylor, Aryn, and Paden Cochran; and great-great niece, Iris. She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Charlotte Lovas; her sister, Mary Jo Lovas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 6:30PM at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, with Father Raymond Thomas of Our Lady of Peace Parrish officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00PM until the time of service at 6:30PM at the funeral home. Ann will be entombed with her parents at St. Joseph Cemetery.
