Obituary of Trudy Anne Grosskopf

Trudy A. Grosskopf Trudy Anne (Culp) Grosskopf, 78, of Ashtabula passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at her home. She was born August 11, 1944, in Canton, Ohio the daughter of the late Hugo Alexander and Ethlyn (George) Culp. Trudy graduated from Minerva High School Class of 1962. In 1973, she moved to Ashtabula with her family. Over the years Trudy worked in the office at Praxair until her retirement in 1993. She realized retirement wasn't for her and went back to work at General Die Casters in Twinsburg until she retired in 2009. Trudy was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing dot to dot puzzles. She would always say, "she was busy doing nothing." She will greatly be missed by her daughter and caregiver, Tricia Grosskopf; her sister, Jane Marie Shull; nieces, Lori Obermiller and her children, Ryan and Brandon, and Wendy (Rick) Strouse and their children, Nicole and Erin. Trudy was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Jerry Shull. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 1PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula. Visitation from 12PM until the time of services. She will be laid to rest with her parents at Northlawn Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.
