Obituary of Sharon Herron

Sharon Louise Herron, 70, of Kingsville, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by her family. She was born November 15, 1952, in Ashtabula the daughter of the late Edward O. and Loretta (Patterson) Corey. A lifelong area resident, Sharon married the love of her life Donald Herron on February 6, 1971. Sharon enjoyed gardening with her husband, but always said she didn't have a green thumb. She would often be found redecorating thing many times throughout the year and was always willing to offer decorating suggestion to others. She enjoyed playing Rummy with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Sharon was a true fighter and fought the good fight during her illness. The Lord was her rock, and she always kept her faith no matter what she was up against. Mrs. Herron is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald; her daughters, Christine (David) Cole and Sherry (Joel) Negron; sister, Carol Mezak; grandchildren, Raymond (Amber) Parker, Alissa (Jon) Pulaski, Jacob Cole, Antonio Herron, Savanna Herron, Armani Negron and Serenity Negron; as well as eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, who she loved like her children. Sharon was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry, Raymond, Ronnie, and Lynn Corey; sister, Lois Saunders; and her parents. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 4PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula with Rev. Ryan Nevil, officiating. A potluck and time of fellowship will be held immediately following the services at the funeral home. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the family.
