Obituary of Gloria Lou Kaull

Ashtabula/Cleveland- Gloria L. Kaull, 90, passed away peacefully at the Cleveland Clinic on Thursday, December 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 23, 1932, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the only child of Carl and Catherine (nee: Johnson) Zehr. Gloria graduated from Ashtabula High School Class of 1950. After graduation she studied radiology at the University Hospital and became an x-ray technician at the Ashtabula General Hospital. Gloria married George Kaull on April 16, 1955 in Ashtabula. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served as treasurer and officer. Gloria was also a former board member and passionate supporter of the Ashtabula Arts Center. In addition, she was active in the Wayside Garden Club, Tourist book club, Story Weavers and Music Appreciation. Gloria enjoyed volunteering at the Ashtabula Hospital, international travel and sailing trips with her family. Known by all to be gracious, generous, and caring, Gloria appreciated art, loved cats, and was an excellent gardener and flower arranger. Gloria is survived by her children: Brett (Jill Stoerkel) Kaull, Carla (Cole Rogers) McGrath and Pamela (Dennis Cox) Kaull, daughter-in-law, Anne Clark Kaull; her four beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Merrick, Zehr, Grey and George; and four great-grandchildren, Foster, Shepard, Hayes, and Clementine. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, George Kaull; and her dear son, Lance Kaull. Celebration of life service will be held in the summer of 2023 at the Ashtabula Arts Center, and service information will be announced at a later time. Private inurnment will be at Lulu Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be given to the Ashtabula Arts Center, 2928 W. 13th St., Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
