Obituary of Marion Louise Porter

JEFFERSON - Marion Louise Porter, 78, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. The daughter of Paul and Belle (Brown) Loomis, Marion was born on October 26, 1944, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Marion was a 1963 graduate of Edgewood High School. Marion was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music and dancing. On many quiet evenings, you could find her hard at work on her next crocheting project. Marion gifted many people with her beautiful and unique pieces and those gifts have now become treasures of the heart. Most of all Marion enjoyed spending time with her family Survivors include her children, Barbie (Joseph) Paul of Dorset, Wilbur Wolf, Jr. of Jefferson, and Tammy (Don) Huston of Pierpont; grandchildren, Alex, Sarah, and Elizabeth Paul, Brandon and Audra Wolf, Alexis Inman, Kristina Hamilton, Darayl Reed, Luke and Shane Huston, and Carl Jr. and Charles Reed; 18 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gay Porter on September 19, 2010; one granddaughter in infancy; brothers, Eugene, Donald, Paul and Alvin Loomis and Robert in infancy; sisters, Mable White and Hazel Housel; and her parents. A service will be held 12PM on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3140 E. Center St. (SR 20), North Kingsville, Ohio with Pastor Roger Loomis officiating.
