I have known Tom for many years through our membership in The Downstairs Club. For me Tom was a great mentor. I was always very impressed by how much he respected his wife Eileen and he always spoke about his family with much pride. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I have many fond memories of your Uncle Tom, but the one I cherish the most is when we were in Rome, NY for some Lopuszynski family get together.
After we all dispersed from either a restaurant or church or wherever, I was fortunate enough to end up in the car with your him at the wheel. He took us on a "tour" of Rome visiting everywhere and anywhere that he hung out as a child through when he left as a young adult. We drove the routes to all of the schools he attended, saw the woods where he and his brothers trapped animals, the Barge Canal where he used to fish, and the old stomping grounds that everyone hung out at as teenagers etc. etc.
He was so articulate in describing all of these areas that I felt like I was back in the early/mid 1900's! I am very interested in family history and it was a treasure to listen to him.
I will and do miss him terribly.

Our memories of Tom and Eileen are that they were such caring and supportive neighbors to our family on Winterhaven Drive.
We always felt that their family was the highest priority to them, they were very good neighbors. Peace to Tom's memory .

Out of all my uncles, I felt the closest to my 'Uncle Tom'. He was a role model for me. I shared his interests in family history, laughter, intelligent discussion, classical music, running, and other things. Thinking of you and your family.

Uncle Tom was a very special uncle to me. Being the oldest family niece I have many beautiful
Memories of him- Especially family dinners on Ann Street and my home on West Oak Street where I was raised. I always remember he was very devoted to family. Whenever there was a family gathering he and Eileen and their children were there. I’ll cherish these memories forever of a very special uncle. Maryann and John Mazzaferro
