Obituary of Lynnette Marie Kelly

Lynnette Marie Kelly, 69, of Ashtabula, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. Born August 22, 1953, in Ashtabula, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Deak) Kelly. An Ashtabula resident for most of her life, Lynnette graduated Harbor High School Class of 1971 and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Kent State University of Ashtabula. Lynnette worked as a registered nurse first at ACMC 4-North and then with Dr. Chillcott at his office in North Kingsville for many years. She then went on to work at Country Club Retirement Campus and she ended her career working in Home Health Care. Never one to sit still, Lynnette enjoyed walking, dancing, crocheting, and playing BINGO. Mystery and crime shows were among her favorite ones to watch. Some of her other favorite pastimes were going to Michael Bolton concerts, traveling and cruises, and admiring the scenery of palm trees along the way. A great cook, her family will always remember how delicious her meatballs, spaghetti sauce, cabbage rolls, pasta and beans, Pucci chicken, Pucci potatoes were. An animal lover, Lynnette cherished her three Yorkshire Terriers, Nicho, Lilly, and Itsy and her cat, Korrie. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Melissa Porterfield) Kelly; daughter, Devon Etling; siblings, Mary Hill, Michele Schick, Michael Kelly; grandchildren, Morghan Pacheco and Nichola Anderson; great grandchildren, Easton, Rebel, Storm, and Ezra. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Paulette Bucci and brother, F. Thomas Kelly. Memorial contributions in Lynnette's name may be made to Harbor Cat Rescue, 1016 Joseph Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
