Carlos Dean Johnston, 89, passed away on January 19, 2023. He was born in Charleston, IL on May 29, 1933, to John and Helen (Smith) Johnston.
He was a former Evansville, IN resident having graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in 1951, before moving to Ashtabula in 1979.
Carlos was an Ironworker having worked for over 38 years in the industry.
He is survived by his children, Steven Johnston, Deana (Ron) Welte, Carla (Barry) Wilson, Brenda Guetling, Sean (Erin) Johnston, and Scott Johnston, all of Evansville, IN and Brandy Ames of Texas; his sister, Janice Johnston of Kansas City, KS; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his companion, Juanita Hinebaugh of Ashtabula.
Per Carlos’s wishes, no services will be held.
Ducro Funeral Service and Crematory assisted the family.
