Sarauniya P. Bankston, 16, passed away on February 1, 2023, in Cleveland. She was born on May 28, 2006, in Ashtabula to Jessica Shumaker and Leonard Bankston.
Sarauniya loved baking, dancing, singing, music, spending time with friends and family, and her dog, Fendi. She loved the beautiful sky and nature and animals. She loved making tiktoks, Sarauniya was a genuine loving person.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Shane Shumaker.
Sarauniya is survived by her parents; her siblings, Myiah Cruz, Shakur Bankston, Freeona Shumaker, Jose Gonzalez, and Iliany Gonzalez; maternal grandparents, Carl and Esta Shumaker; her girlfriend, Asia Hanna; and special niece and nephew, Deondre Boles and Azariana Goodwin Cruz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula at 4:00PM. Please leave condolences and guest book at Ducro.com
