Obituary of Susan Elizabeth Burgard

Susan Elizabeth Burgard, was 68 and passed away on January 31, 2023 in Marion, Indiana. She was born on January 31, 1955, in Ashtabula, Ohio to Ernest and Bula (Tackett) Hall. In 1983, She moved from Ashtabula to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked at the Mirage Casino for 20 years before retiring. She returned to Ashtabula in 2019. Susan enjoyed video poker, games of all kinds. She loved animals, especially her dog, Tiny, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Ernest “Buddy Boy” Hall, and Kenneth “Bo” Hall. Survivors include her husband, Samuel Burgard of Ashtabula; her children, Robert (Kristina) Hunt of Wabash, Indiana, Dreama (Joey) Holloway of Swayzee, Indiana, and Deanna Srisukda of Las Vegas, Nevada; her siblings, Anita Kay Johnston, and Helen Pea Loyd, both of Ashtabula; her grandchildren, Tyana Hunt of Shreveport, Louisiana, Brandon (Heather) Hunt of Coldwater, Mississippi, Thomas (Heather Conte) Hunt of Las Vegas, Nevada, Alexander Hunt of Las Vegas, Nevada, Heather Keehn of Wabash, Indiana, Tamara (Hunter) Fetterhoff of Marion, Indiana, Alexis Bever of Swayzee, Indiana, and Taylor Holloway of Swayzee, Indiana; and her great grandchildren, Ella Hunt of Las Vegas, Trey, Alannah, Allison, and Alivia Fetterhoff , all of Marion, Indiana, Estela Hunt of Shreveport, Louisiana, Dax Hunt of Coldwater, Mississippi, and 2 other great grandsons. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Ducro Funeral Services, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio at 12:00 PM. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 10:00 until the time of services. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula.
