Obituary of Amanda Rae Patterson

Amanda Rae Patterson, 34, of Ashtabula passed away unexpectedly, Monday February 27, 2023, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1988, in Geneva, Ohio the daughter of Douglas and Mary (Thayer) Stiles. Mandy graduated from Edgewood High School Class of 2007. During her high school years, she also attended A-Tech where she earned her certificates as an STNA. She married Shane Patterson on July 19, 2019. Amanda worked most recently at Glenbeigh, but over the years she also worked in medical billing and in Phlebotomy. She enjoyed traveling with her family especially to Las Vegas. A great date night for her was a trip to Longhorn, and then playing cards or board games, with family and friends. She enjoyed reading and watching soap operas and football. She is survived by her husband, Shane; her mother, Mary Stiles; her stepchildren, Gavin, Emma Rose, and Zebediah Patterson; siblings, Laura (Shane Mitchell) Stiles and Justin (Scott DeCola) Stiles; her bonus sister, LeKeisha Hughes; her in-laws, Robert Patterson, Sarah Patterson, Laura Long; her niece Madison Duva; and her beloved fur babies. Mandy was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Stiles in 2022. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Mausoleum Chapel, 3140 E. Center St., North Kingsville, Ohio 44068. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the family, or to the funeral home to assist them with arrangements.
