Vanessa Lynn Moore, 62, Passed away on March 2, 2023, at her home.
Vanessa was born in McDowell, Kentucky on April 26, 1961, to Beverage and Catherine (Blankenship) Moore. She had been an area resident for the past 11 years.
She enjoyed camping and fishing. She was affectionately known as “Mom” because she was very family oriented and had a hand in raising over 175 children. She also loved spending time with her granddaughter.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jeffrey Moore of Dorset; her children, Joshua (Mallary Day) Moore of Piketon, Ohio, Heather (Jared Lemon) Moore of Ashtabula, Terry Scheidt of Ashtabula, Crystal Good of Waverly, Ohio; her foster daughter, Brianna Alex of Ashtabula; her brother, Phillip Moore of Printer, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Clara-Jean Moore and Brad Day; and her dog, Pencil.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula at 2:00 PM. Guestbook and leave condolences at Ducro.com
