Obituary of Marilyn Kay West

Marilyn Kay West, 79, of Pierpont, passed away at her home on March 6, 2023. Marilyn was the daughter of the late Herald Charles and Garnet Eleanor (Sears) Fenn. She was born on March 3, 1944 in Mercer, PA. Marilyn graduated from Joseph Badger High School in Kinsman, OH. She had many jobs though out the years, most notably she worked at the Pentagon as a typist, as a nurses aid, and at Andover Industries for many years. Marilyn enjoyed going to church, sewing, and had a strong bond with her cats. She was family oriented and especially loved spending time with her sisters. She loved her three children very much and was always talking about them. She is survived by her children, Carole (Jeffry) Ring of Pierpont, OH and Adam (Mandy) West of Williamsfield, OH; siblings, Charles and Dale Fenn of Kinsman, OH, Dorothy Woodring of FL, Francis Moreland of Jamestown, PA, and Sandy Randall of Jamestown, PA. Marilyn was also a grandmother of 9 and a great-grandmother of 7 children. In addition to Marilyn’s parents, Herald and Garnet, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Celina (West) Davis, and brother, Johnny Fenn. No public services will be observed at this time.
