Obituary of Beverly Jean Earl

Beverly Jean Earl Ashtabula- Beverly Jean Earl, 85, passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, after celebrating her birthday on Monday. The beloved daughter of Edward P. and Eleanor J. (Spencer) Earl, Beverly was born on March 13, 1938, in Willoughby, Ohio. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School and Ohio State having received her degree in Liberal Arts. Beverly was a gifted artist and as an artist she visited many places and lived an interesting life. She used many mediums, never preferring one over the other as she was talented in all of them. Beverly expressed her feelings using her artistic talents. From portraits to landscapes and everything in between her talent shown through. As a child she and her siblings, Shirley and Richard along with the neighborhood kids enjoyed many different games. In Junior High School, Beverly played trombone and went on to play and march in the High School Band and enjoyed being with her bandmates. To mourn her loss are her siblings; Shirley (Harold S.) Sommerschield and Richard W.( Min-Chih)Earl; nieces, Erin and Eileen Earl; nephew, Stephen (Laura) Sommerschield; nieces, Karin (Robert) Cooney, Kristin Hungerford and Kammelyn (Edward)Freed. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents. Private services were held at Lakeview Cemetery where she was laid to rest next to her parents.
