Obituary of Daniel W. Morrison

Daniel Wayne "Bear" Morrison, 64, of Ashtabula passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at UH- Case Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born September 9, 1958, in Cleveland the son of the late Herman and Joan Ann (Bennett) Morrison. A lifelong area resident, Dan graduated from Jefferson High School Class of 1977. He married the love of his life Candy Lemmon on June 23, 2001. Dan worked for many years at Perfection Corp in Geneva as a Gas Riser Distributor before his retirement. Dan was a devoted member of his church. He enjoyed playing guitar and collecting model cars. He will forever be missed for his cooking and baking. Most of all he loved his family and the time he shared with them. Dan is survived by his wife of 22 years, Candy; sons, Ryan (Natasha) Wetherbee, and Gideon Morrison; brother, Terry (Connie) Morrison; and granddaughter, Ava. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Donnetta Campbell, and Wanda DeCola; and his parents. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 4-8 PM at the Lake Erie Church, 2300 Hubbard Rd., Madison, Ohio. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11AM at the church, With Rev. Bill Isaacs officiating., Burial will follow at Plymouth Maple Grove Cemetery. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in his name to the family.
