Obituary of Ruth Ann Runnion

Ruth Ann Runnion, 42, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born June 5, 1980, in Ashtabula, Ohio the daughter of Don Runnion Jr. and Ruth Ellen (Torrance) Runnion. A lifelong area resident, Ruth Ann graduated from Ashtabula High School Class of 1999. To say she enjoyed crafts, would be an understatement. She LOVED crafting, diamond art pictures and hook rugs were among her favorites. She loved reading, mystery and romance novels were always on the top of her list as well as watching crime shows. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children. She is survived by her children Samuel and Benjamin Runnion; her parents, Don and Ruth Runnion; her paternal grandmother, Margaret Runnion; maternal grandparents, Phyllis and James Torrance; siblings, Tina, Estil (Amber), and Kelly (Shawn); and nieces and nephews, Eric, George, Amber, Sean, Ella May, Brittany and Lilly. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Don Runnion, Sr. as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 3-5PM at the Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula.
