Donald “Don” Benjamin Lute, 63, of Sheffield, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Andover Village Retirement Center.
He was born March 13, 1960, in Conneaut the son of Charles and Lauretta (Simmons) Lute. A lifelong area resident Don graduated from Edgewood high School Class of 1978. He married the love of his life Bridget Kennedy on March 13, 1991.
Don enjoyed fishing and tinkering around the house. Don was a true family man, he spoiled his wife and kids and enjoyed every moment he spent with them.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bridget; his mother, Lauretta Simmons; sons, Christopher Moody and Dale Kennedy; siblings, Signa (Randy) Hicks, Edwin (Janie) Lute, Laurie (Elsworth) Holcomb, Lynn Hook, Charla Lute, and Christopher Lute; and his grandchildren he adored, Lillian and Kiersten Moody, and RaeAnna and Brody Kennedy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his brother, Allen “Fred” Lute, and his father.
Per his wishes no services will be held.
