Lucy Marie Sleight, 78, of Ashtabula, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born March 25, 1945, in Clay County, WV, she was a daughter of the late William and Esther (Riggs) Runnion.
An Ashtabula resident for most of her life, Lucy enjoyed word searches, soap operas, window shopping, and game shows. She also loved playing cards especially the game Skipbo.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Joel (Bobbie) Sleight, Rebecca (John Christman) Settles, Esta “Red” (Carl) Shumaker, Shirley (Bill) Mager, all of Ashtabula; two siblings, Larry (Goldie) Runnion and Shonet (Marle) Dodge, both of Ashtabula; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lucy was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry (Patty), Calvin (Sylvia), Okey (Linda), and Don (Margaret) Runnion; her sisters Anna Fay (Bunt) Taylor, Betty Runnion, Marsh Fyock; and her parents.
Private family services will be observed.
