My father's love was unconditional.
He truly exemplified what a father is to his loved ones. His love and caring nature carried over to our family pets. His love was evident in his actions each day of his life. He had a profound impact on my life and all who knew him. My father was a man of principle, humility, integrity and kindness. He would go out of his way to help others not because he wanted accolades, but it was the christian thing to do. I take comfort in knowing he is in a better place with our Lord. Love, Bill

WE loved you GRANDPA/ED and we shall always
miss you. You showed us so many
interesting educational books you read, how to make birdhouses, how to plant seeds, and how to ride our bikes. We know we shall see you in Heaven for you taught us so much about Salvation and the love of our GOD/FATHER/JESUS You would remind us to always read the BIBLE and to keep our Lord by our side each and every day. RIP, LOVE, GRANDCHILDREN-Michael Jacob, Kandice Irene, and Megan Anne, (Kellogg)

I appreciate the family and friends who attended my father's funeral mass. To the same, I appreciate family and friends, that remembered my father with flowers and other "gifts". I realize now, just who cared for him and our family. I have a new appreciation for some family and friends. The funeral mass was a blessing. As Father Thomas remarked, Irene, Ed's wife, and my mother, chose beautiful music and scripture. J.P. Ducro, my friend, led his team and guided a beautiful gravesite ending. My brother, Bill, delivered a beautiful heart-felt eulogy. My children were little angels and acted "grown" for their young, tender age. My goodness, a friend/neighbor even showed more love and care than some family. Sadly, some of us get so caught up in our "material world" we loose sight of the bigger picture- storing up our treasures in Heaven. Well, it is not too late. My dad was good about attending so many funerals of friends and family to pay respect. Now, is the time to show remembrance for him! I am trying my best to set up a memorial fund in my dad's honor and also, relate it to work in the medical field in relation to cardiology. My father passed away too soon. His death was unexpected and sudden. His tragic death "blind-sided" our family and is devastating in so many respects. If anyone is desiring to reach out to Ed's family, please contact the Ducro Funeral Services and they can provide our contact information to you. Again, I TRULY appreciate all the family and friends who remembered my father and pray others will follow suit. God's blessings, Mark Kellogg (Ed's son).

Remember our time in the Navy Ed--ha ha. Remember all the ones we worked with at Reliance?--ha,ha You showed them how to find God above. You were a wonderful laborer here on earth and will be for Jesus, the carpenter. You always gave people a message sent to them by Christ. Peace/Shalom-

Throughout the ups and downs in life, you never left my side. There is not a single day that goes by, I do not thank GOD for giving me such a wonderful,
caring husband who knew no bounds of love
for me in the 50 years we were married. You were my ROCK in life.
I shall miss you until we are united again in Heaven for Eternity.
I miss you, Ed,
Love, your wife, Irene~

Mark & Bill, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I know he is and will forever be proud of you and he will always be with you in spirit and in your hearts. I know what you are going through as I too experienced this very tragedy recently with the passing of my husband. It is unexplainable but they are with God and watching over us and in no pain. I know no words can change or give you comfort but know we are here for you. I have always considered you my boys since the day we first met. You are amazing young men and I know your dad is smiling from heaven. He would not want you to be sad but continue his legacy. You will be in our prayers.
