Obituary of Curtis Lee Hall, Sr.

Curtis Lee Hall, Sr., of North Kingsville, passed away, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at UH- Cleveland Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1941 in Bevinsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Marion and Alpha (Johnson) Hall. After moving to Ohio in 1959, he married the love of his life Judith Wood on October 17, 1959. Curtis retired as a supervisor from Rockwell International in 1995. He was a faithful member of the Pentecostal Church of God. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the children and grandchildren. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Judy, in 2015; father, Marion Hall; mother and step-father, Alpha and Garfield Burke; brothers, Donald and Omer Hall; sisters, Deloris Johnson, Becky Little and Joan Hall; and great-grandson, Zeke Hamilton. He is survived by his daughter, Diana (Chuck) Lute of Conneaut; sons, Gary (Roberta) Hall of Ashtabula, Kenneth (Debi) Hall of Ashtabula, and Curtis (Shar) Hall, Jr., of Kingsville; siblings, James Hall, Joan Becker, Joyce (Steve) Jenson, Roger (Dena) Burke, Raymond (Jerri Ann) Burke, Joyce Allen, Ronnie Burke; grandchildren, Jessica (Jose) Gonzalez, Jodi (Brent) Burgess, Julie (Brett) Heinonen, Michael Hall, Josie (Trevor) Hutson, Hayley Hall, Ryan (Bobbie) Park, Julie (Bob) Bytyci, and Dan Hamilton;15 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 11AM at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Rd., Ashtabula with Rev. Kenneth Roberts, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 6-8PM at the church.
