To Sandy and family-
We were on our way to GA, and didn't know about George's funeral. We just found out about it, but I knew your home looked empty, I had wondered what had happened to you folks. Very sorry to read about his passing, take care and find us in the spring.

One of my favorite sets of pictures of George and Sandy Smith. The quintessential Prom King and Queen who made life happy and beautiful for all around them.

Dear Shelley, Ric, Amy and Jill~
I am so very sad to read of your father's passing. As a former neighbor on Ohio Avenue, I have wonderful memories of your dad and mom and each of you growing up. Lead by your loving, kind, caring, funny and truly wonderful dad, your energetic family was always involved in the most interesting exploits. I've always thought that you were such fun and active neighbors, and your dad and mom really knew what it took to raise a great family...that being truly loving you kids, and each other. I can't imagine Sandy being without George, or all of you without your dad. This old world needs more men like your dad and it would be a better place. We've lost one of the genuinely good guys. I will hold all of you and your families in my heart and in my thoughts, and I know your dad is rockin' an amazing set of wings. Thank you for all of the fun Smith Family memories. Love to you all.

Dad, Thank you for being our 'Handy Manny's, our inspiration, our cheerleader, our protector. Thank you for showing my girls how a gentleman treats a lady and for being the father-figure to them. Thank you for loving us and being there for us. Thank you for all your jokes, stories and 'Georgeisms'. You were an amazing man. I miss you and will love you forever!

We got our love of sports from you Dad; you never said much during a game but you loved watching all the different games. I remember going to the bowling alley to watch you bowl & going to watch you play softball. You also loved golfing, & I don't think there was a sport on tv you didn't enjoy watching. Maybe you'll be watching the Buckeyes play on Sat. from Heaven & they'll bring home a win for you! You were always our AllStar! Sending you all my love ~ I miss you!
