I just learned yesterday of my old friend Anne Tome's passing. We go back about 45 years.
Though I moved out of Ahtabula so many years ago, we always kept in contact with each other throughout the years, and we always visited and went out when I came into town. The last time I saw her was last May when we went to Applebees. Years ago I lived
right down the street from Anne & JT and I would usually be over there everyday. She's had a rough time of things, and though life hadn't always dealt her a decent hand, she always managed to keep a pleasant smile and friendly attitude about life's struggles. I've always respected her and have never had a friend who was kinder or more giving than Anne. She is loved and I will deeply miss her, as will many. It's been my honor and privilege to have known her thoughout life and to refer to her as one of my oldest and closest friends. Rest in Peace my friend Anne Tome.....

22 years ago I put an ad in the paper looking for a “babysitter” to watch my 5 week old twins so I could go back to work. When I hired Anne, I didn’t realize what a huge part she would play in our family. She would become my 3 girls Annie, Annie the Nanny, Annie Beebah, anything but “the babysitter”. She was there to teach all 3 girls so many new things over the years, many that I would miss out on. She loved our three girls as if they were her own. I know she gave this last month the fight of her life and we will miss her so much!
Much love to our Annie
