Anne Aliene (Westlake) Thome, 68, of Ashtabula, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born July 13, 1953, in Geneva, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Patricia Anne (Rauchkorst) Westlake. A resident of Ashtabula all her life, Anne was a graduate of Harbor High School. She loved being outside, especially to tend to her flower and vegetable gardens. Generous and giving, she enjoyed collecting antiques, babysitting, and spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memories is her children, Melissa (Jason Starcher) Thome and Stephen Thome; six grandchildren, Duane Jr., Nathan, and Derek Marshall, Stone Starcher, Skyler and Aubry Thome; three great grandchildren, Kyrie and Addily Marshall, Weston Mezerkor; three siblings, Janet Taylor of PA, Charles Westlake of Ashtabula, and Gail Philpott of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Thome; her siblings, David Westlake, Elaine Desnoyer and Gary Westlake. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, starting at 12 noon. If one desires, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula is handling arrangements.
