Sending love and deepest sympathy to the entire Moore family. Rick will always be remembered as a man with a vibrant and entertaining spirit—he had strength, resilience, and vitality. He offered support and reassurance to others. Rick loved family, the great outdoors, humor, the open road, and adventure. Rick, you will never be forgotten. May you walk in beauty.

Ricky was our first cousin on the mccann side. From the time he was born we saw him at least every Sunday at grandma mccanns. Tommy and i were sent to the moores house on gildersleeve for 2 weeks each summer from 52 to 57. I was the only girl until kathleen was born when i was 7. Often bored, except when we climed the cliff behind the house. Rick had Jennifer when i had my daughter tara. 10 yrs aho Abby and i did a 4 day Cleveland trip. We were able to see uncle jim before he got sivk had dinner w Jeanne and Ricky invited us to dinner at his home, bragging about Gretas cooking. We had a wonderful visit. Rick and i talked about books, got to meet his youngest daughters and wife. We were so glad we got to see him and meet his family. Ricky was somewhat of a rebel over the years. He should have written a book. He will.be missed by all. Kathy Ochs, first cousin. Said a rosary for him st last sundays mass. Prayers for all of the moores too. When there is a memorial, i will try and be there. Ill have to ride w my sisters. Ill be 75 in 2 weeks. Its gotten hard to do long trips. I use to do day trips to Cleveland and back in the past. Cant do that any more. God bless and goodby Ricky

Growing up I was Rick's little girl, I have no idea why but with 3 boys and 3 girls in the family we were all paired up and we were that for each other and somehow it felt special.
Rick and I were quite different but uniquely the same as well. We bother loved animals, horses in particular and enjoyed riding horses and exploring the woods behind the house. We talked sports together; playing sports, our kids playing sports and watching sports, particularly the CAVS and his beloved Browns. We raised children together, helped each other through difficult times, talked often and for 40 years both showed up at Mom's house on Mother's Day to plant geraniums and a rose bush!
I will so miss my most recent weekly talks with him, his kindness, strength, determination and laughter.
Love you always Rick!
